SLUGMOTH is spells whispered and woven into fabric. It is years of dreams manifest in fibre, in texture, in feeling, from my fingertips to yours. It is mixed media collage meeting textile experiments expressed as wearable art.

SLUGMOTH is a solo passion project by fifi king. It is one person stitching, sewing, painting, printing and repurposing garments into new life. Also an illustrator, I've explored many mediums of art making and creating. I am led back time and time again to working with textiles.
I make gender neutral clothing items that are always one of a kind. The process of transforming garments from one way of being to another acts as a mirror of my own unending emobodied becomings.
